This year we are delighted to announce that the Extern Group is our charity of the year.
Founded in Northern Ireland in 1978, Extern has grown to become a leading provider of mental health and suicide prevention services, as well as working with young people and families, and those facing homelessness or tackling problem drug and alcohol use. The charity also provides employability and refugee resettlement programmes.
Each year, Extern speak up for and support more than 19,500 children, young people, individuals and families. We want to raise vital funds for the Extern Group to enable them to continue to transform lives. Extern make a huge difference in peoples’ lives by reaching in rather than waiting for those in need to reach out.
Staff from Worthingtons will be fundraising for Extern over the next year, aiming to raise awareness and funds for Extern’s diverse range of services through a busy programme of activities including taking part in 2019 Belfast Pride parade and the 8th Annual Extern Dambusters run at Silent Valley County Down.
