Commiserations to the Employment Department who lost the Quiz again!

The Boom Foundation is the only charity in Northern Ireland dedicated to supporting those affected by sarcoma cancer.  Sarcoma cancers are very rare cancers that develop in the supporting or connective tissues of the body such as muscle, bond, nerves, cartilage, tendons and blood vessels.

The Boom Foundation aims to raise public awareness and funds, of which 50% will go directly towards supporting initiatives in Northern Ireland and the her 50% to support Sarcoma UK to support nationally focussed work to improve standards of treatment and care for patients and to fund vital research.

The Boom Foundation was set up in the memory of Philip Wilson who lost his battle to sarcoma on 8 March 2013 and was the winner of the Ulster Tatler Charity of the Year in 2014.

Worthingtons have chosen the Boom Foundation to raise vital funds and raise awareness that is so needed given the rare nature of sarcoma cancer and the impact it has on those with the disease.
