Business ? Keep Fit On Your Terms

25 February 2015

Worthingtons are offering off the shelf Terms and Conditions for the Supply of Goods and Services for a fixed fee of ?250 plus VAT.

Our January Newsletter suggested that the New Year was an opportunity to give your business a fitness boost, which among other things, could involve a review of your Terms and Conditions. To help keep momentum and comply with any such New Year’s resolutions, Worthingtons are offering off the shelf Terms and Conditions for the Supply of Goods and Services, for a fixed fee of £250 plus VAT.

These terms and conditions set out important provisions relating to when the contract with the customer is formed, delivery of goods, retention of title, payment, obligations of the customer, warranties and limitations of liability.

Whilst we always advise that terms and conditions are no substitute to an efficient credit control system and knowing your customers, they are an important tool in your armoury should disputes arise. Our off the shelf terms are designed for use in standard day to day transactions with customers and it may be on bigger contracts, bespoke Terms specific to your business and/or the particular circumstances will be required. In this event we will gladly provide a quotation on the likely fees for drafting and negotiation specific bespoke Terms. Alternatively we can quote for a review and update of your existing terms and conditions as required.

If you wish to keep that New Year’s resolution, please contact Celia Worthington or Ciaran McConnell and we will be happy to put your business Terms & Conditions through their paces.
