Worthingtons Solicitors Sponsor Childcare Works Awards 2013
Worthingtons Solicitors were delighted to sponsor the recent Childcare Works Awards 2013 ceremony in Belfast City Hall on Wednesday 18 September.
The Judges for this year’s awards were Professor Marie McHugh (Dean of the Ulster Business School, University of Ulster), Patricia Lewsley-Mooney (Northern Ireland Commissioner for Children and Young People), Maxine Orr (Partner, Childcare Works Awards 2013, Worthingtons Solicitors), Gavin Walker (Editor of media partner, Business First) and Julie Taylor (Managing Director of Integrity NI and Board Member of Employers For Childcare Charitable Group).
Worthingtons Partner, and one of the Award Judges, Maxine Orr commented...
“There was stiff competition from a wide range of employers who demonstrated inventive and flexible child care arrangements, and Childcare Voucher schemes which impressed the Judges. As a working parent myself I understand the difficulties of balancing work and home and commend the innovative practices implemented by the Award winners.”
The Awards were presented by Julie Taylor, Employers For Childcare Charitable Group Board Member, and the Award Judges, to the following companies:
Large Private Sector Company of the year- Viridian
Public Sector Organisation of the year- Banbridge District Council
Social Enterprise and Charity of the year- Extern
Small Medium Enterprise of the year- Legal-Island
