Huw and Celia Worthington donated both their time and expertise during November to draft Wills for clients who in return were asked only to make a charitable donation to Will Aid.
The Solicitors involved, namely Huw and Celia Worthington, agreed to forgo their professional fees for drafting Wills during the month of November. Donations made in lieu of professional fees all went to the charity Will Aid, which supports nine of the UK’s favourite charities. In addition to contributing to charities which aim to provide support, aid and assistance to those in need throughout the world, those individuals who have drafted their Wills can assure their own families and loved ones that they will be spared the distress so often encountered by those nearest and dearest to the deceased who find themselves confronted with legal complications, following the death of a loved one.
Huw Worthington said “This is the second time we have volunteered our services for this worthy cause and we are absolutely delighted with the generosity of our clients and with the total raised which exceeds all our expectations. The success of this year’s efforts has cemented the place of the Will Aid event in the Worthingtons calendar.
We have found that the online Wills questionnaire on our Worthingtons website has lent itself particularly well to accommodating busy clients who don’t always have time to consult at the point of providing initial instructions and our online payment facilities have also proven invaluable allowing clients to deal with such matters at a time convenient to them. Our aim is to make this process as convenient and straightforward as possible, whilst ensuring all clients receive high quality advice and a competitive service. “
