Ruth joined Worthingtons in April 2022 and is a Solicitor in the Commercial Property Team.
Whilst completing her law degree, Ruth worked as a Paralegal for a few years and subsequently became an Apprentice Solicitor with that same firm. She graduated in Law from The Open University in 2018 and thereafter attended the Institute of Professional Legal Studies at Queen’s University, Belfast, where she qualified as a solicitor in 2020. Throughout her training, Ruth gained experience in various areas of law including residential property work, family law and litigation (medical negligence and personal injury). After qualifying as a solicitor, Ruth joined a large firm and worked in the Regulatory Department where she conducted investigations into alleged teacher misconduct, which often resulted in Professional Conduct Panel Hearings.
Since joining Worthingtons Commercial Property department Ruth is working on various aspects of commercial property including landlord and tenant matters and related Business Tenancies procedures.
