Niall McMullan

Niall is a Partner with our Employment Department and qualified as a solicitor in September 2008.  He has 11 years’ experience in employment law.  He advises both public and private sector organisations in contentious and non-contentious areas of law.  Niall has represented clients at Tribunal, in all aspects of employment matters to include, Public Interest Disclosure, Part Time and Flexible Working Detriment and discrimination claims.  He has also acted for a number of clients in the civil jurisdiction in respect of negligent misstatements (specifically employment references) and breach of restrictive covenants.  He is a member of the Employment Lawyers Group, sits on the steering committee of the Employment Lawyers Association, is a regular speaker at Legal Island event and writes in local publications, such as the Belfast Telegraph and Ulster Tatler, in relation to employee related topics.

  • Acts as principal employment advisor to some of Northern Ireland’s biggest employers including South Eastern Regional College, Northern Regional College, Southern Regional College, Firstsource Solutions, Mid Ulster District Council, Merchant Warehouse trading as Cayan and Age NI.

  • Advocacy in Industrial Tribunal matters to include Case Management Discussions for Orders and Issues, Pre-Hearing Reviews and Review hearings.
