Michael graduated from Queen’s University of Belfast with a degree in Law in 2011, before commencing employment as a Paralegal with the property department of a top tier law firm in Belfast. Michael joined Worthingtons as an Apprentice Solicitor in 2016 and commenced his studies at the Institute of Professional Legal Studies in January 2017 qualifying as a Solicitor in September 2018.
Michael works with the Commercial Department of our Belfast Office specialising in corporate, charity and commercial property and acts on behalf of individuals, companies, charities and social enterprises.
He has a range of corporate and commercial experience which includes; the acquisition and disposal of companies and businesses, shareholder agreements and disputes, company formation, contracts and corporate governance. Michael also advises charities on a wide range of issues from governance, registration, incorporation and mergers.
Michael is also involved in a wide range of commercial property work including landlord and tenant matters, investment acquisitions and sales, secured lending, leases, buying and selling property.

Michael regularly contributes to the Worthingtons’ client newsletter and has written articles for the Belfast Telegraph and the Ulster Tatler.
